“Making a World of Difference” Banquet Honors Four

The Ocean County Women’s Connection is honoring local individuals at its 4th annual “Making a World of Difference” banquet, Thursday, October 13 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Holiday Inn, 290 Highway 37 East, Toms River, N.J.  Tickets for dinner are $38.00.  For reservations, call Linda at 732-244-1701 or email oceancountywc@yahoo.com.

Among the honorees are Mary J. Flammer, Operations Manager, USO Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, who organizes meals, gifts and a hug for every military member when leaving or returning home from a mission; Kevin Burger, Assistant Superintendent of Manchester District School System and his wife, Peggy, founders of “Kevin’s Kids,” an organization that has provided Christmas for 27 years to thousands of less fortunate children; and Ann Schuld and Louise Zuber, known for being outstanding volunteers. Schuld, the owner of Ann Schuld Realty, and Zuber, a homemaker, extensively support the American Cancer Society, House of Hope, and various local groups.

The keynote speaker Harold Munson, the founder and president of the manufacturing  company Revival Industries, will deliver “A Lifetime on GPS.”
