Management Consultant Bill Lang Speaker at March 13 Lunch Meeting

William E. Lang, Allenwood, N.J., a management consultant, will present, “Minding Your Business: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly,” at the Lunch a Little, Learn a Lot business meeting, noon to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Charlie Brown’s Restaurant, 400 Route 70 West, Lakewood, N.J. The cost is $15 and includes Charlie Brown’s salad bar, a lunch entrée, a beverage, and an educational presentation.  Walk-ins welcome.

Lang, will offer solutions to some age-old business problems for small-business owners, entrepreneurs, independent sales and marketers, and professionals, such as independence; and feelings of reward, frustration, anger; and being scared.

Lang’s expertise in management began with management training programs at Bethlehem Steel Shipbuilding, fast food companies, and retail management. He spent 26 years in sales, sales management, and operations and project management in the communications industry.  He is also an independent insurance broker in life, long term care, and annuities.

Lang offers his services as a volunteer for Monmouth County SCORE, the Customer Supervisory Committee of First Financial Credit Union, the non-profit committee of MODC, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, among others.

He holds a B.A. in Religion and a Master of Divinity Degree (MDiv), and is an ordained minister, having served as a pastor, associate pastor, evangelist; and church planter who works to establish a church. Lang is the founder and director of Cove Fellowship Ministries, a non-denominational ministry for which he publishes “Safe Harbor,” Sunday thoughts from the Cove. He recently published, “Midnight Musings: Thoughts from a Restless Mind.”
