Mega-sessions This October at HR Conference and Expo in Atlantic City

Attendees at the 24th annual GSC-SHRM (Garden State Council – Society for Human Resource Management) Conference & Expo, in the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, N.J., October 4 through 6 will have an opportunity to attend several mega-sessions designed to ensure organizations achieve success not only in daily management but in the development of effective long-term strategies.

The 2015 sessions will focus on diversity, equity and inclusion; talent management; organizational development and strategic HR; total rewards; legal compliance; and professional development.

Louis Lessig will lead a mega-session on “The Top 10 Employment Cases of 2015,” Sunday, October 4 from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. A panel of CEOs will discuss their roles and their impact on HR professionals at the CEO Panel, Monday, October 5 from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Steve Miranda, SPHR, GPHR, will conduct the mega-session “Strategist or Futurist? The Evolving Role of the HR Generalist,” Monday, October 5 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.; and Regina Clark will examine “The Power of Process Excellence,” Tuesday, October 6 from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m.

The 24th annual GSC-SHRM Conference & Expo, the largest Human Resource educational and networking event for HR professionals in New Jersey is designed to help HR professionals and partners stay up-to-date on the latest legal, business and general HR practices. The Conference and Expo will take place Sunday, October 4 through Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, N.J.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. This year’s conference, “HR’s Transformational Power” includes mega-sessions from top local and national speakers, three keynote addresses, about 75 breakout sessions, strategic workshops, and more than 65 conference sponsors.
