More than 70 people and local dignitaries recently attended the branch opening of the Robbinsville office of Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services (PHHC), with headquarters in Eatontown, N.J.

Officials from the Robbinsville Town Council and the Office of Economic Development said they were delighted to have PHHC open an office in Robbinsville because it is a vibrant and growing community that needs the services PHHC offers.

Joel Markel, the founder and CEO of PHHC, said, “Robbinsville is a perfect place to expand our services in Mercer County. Our goal is to hire as many local people as possible and to take care of hundreds of clients.”

PHHC, which has nine locations in New Jersey and three in Pennsylvania, provides a wide range of medical and non-medical home health care services from pediatric to geriatric care. PHHC, accredited by CHAP* (Community Health Accreditation Program), works collaboratively with physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and facilities to ensure a smooth transition to one’s home.

In-house services include skilled nursing care for infants, children, adults, and seniors; personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, etc.; private duty nursing services; and at-home physical therapy, among others. All of the care can be provided in-house and is coordinated by registered nurses, with clinical supervision available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
