Ocean Couny Business Association Elects Its Officers

The Ocean County Business Association (OCBA), a professional category-exclusive referral, networking, and educational organization that meets in Toms River, announced its officers for 2013-2014.

The president is Marty Aronow, Aronow Business Advisors, LLC; 1st vice president, Chad White, Safe Harbor Wealth Management, Inc.; 2nd vice president, Regina Gelzer, Regina Gelzer Attorney-at-Law, LLC; treasurer, Glenn Van Pell, Hutchins, Meyer & DiLieto, PA; secretary, Joseph Caldeira, Meadowbrook Industries, LLC; past president, James Everett, Toms River Locksmith; and presidential appointee, Lisa McComsey, Lisa McComsey, Writer & Editor. Each officer will serve a one-year term.

Elected for a two-year term are trustees Chuck Laing, Chuck Laing Construction Consultant, LLC; and Sandy Levine, Sandra Levine Productions, who will join current trustees Dave McIndoe, Netwave Interactive Marketing, Inc.; Dr. Steve Pollack, Pollack Health and Wellness, Inc.; and Sheree Robinson, Shaklee Products.

Established in 1980, OCBA sponsors a traveling speakers’ bureau; publishes the biannual Best in Business magazine, with a distribution to more than 5,000 people throughout Ocean County; and features talks by nationally known business experts, such as Dr. Joel Naroff, a chief economist and one of the top 10 economic forecasters; and media consultant Deborah Smith, owner of Foxtrot Media LLC, featured in The New York Times, among others.

OCBA also supports the CAREing for Children Charity, which distributes toys, clothing, food baskets, and other gifts to local charitable organizations and families in need.
