OHI’s Mobile Medical Unit to Host Head Start Dental Exams in Ocean County

Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. (OHI), in partnership with the Head Start development program of O.C.E.A.N., Inc., has announced that the OHI mobile medical unit will be visiting several local Head Start program sites March 29 through April 5, 2017, to conduct dental exams, specifically for the children in Head Start programs. Dentist Dr. Patricia Gibbons will be conducting the dental exams for children in Head Start.

The OHI mobile medical unit will visit Head Start Program Sites in

Toms River:   Ocean County College, 1 College Drive          Wed. Mar.29    8:30 a.m. to   3:30 p.m.

Barnegat:         1 Ocean Avenue                                                 Fri.    Mar.31 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Manchester:    2950 Wilbur Avenue                                       Fri.    Mar.31   1:00 p.m. to   3:30 p.m.

Berkeley:         264 First Avenue                                               Tues. Apr. 4    8:30 a.m. to  11:30 a.m.

Brick:              503 Adamston Road                                          Wed. Apr. 5    8:30 a.m. to    3:30 p.m.

The OHI mobile medical unit (MMU) provides medical and dental services to people who may not have the transportation. Services include general dentistry care, Fluoride and screenings on the MMU. Cleanings, sealants, extractions, x-rays and comprehensive dental services at OHI’s Lakewood Health Center, 101 Second Street, Lakewood; Toms River Health Center, 301 Lakehurst Road; or Little Egg Harbor Health Center, 798 Route 539, Building 3.
