Brick Rainbow Kids, 1823 Route 88, Brick, N.J., a daycare and learning center for children ages six weeks to ten years, has added a full-day kindergarten program for the 2011-12 school year. Open registration for Kindergarten, which begins September 6,  has begun for any child who is five years of age by December 31, 2011. Parents must register their children in person.

Although the academic day for kindergarten is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Brick Rainbow Kids is open 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., to provide before school and after school care to accommodate the schedules of working parents.

The kindergarten curriculum, which meets all N.J. state requirements, includes reading, literacy, language arts, writing, mathematics, science and social studies while re-enforcing motor, communication, cognitive, and personal-social skill development.  Specials include ballet, Zumba, and other activities in a renovated, padded gymnasium. As a special treat, all kindergarteners get free pizza on Fridays.

Among other specials features, parents and grandparents can see what their child is doing at any moment via an EZCAM Live, a secure Internet monitoring service. Brick Rainbow Kids offers state accredited curriculum-based programs.  It is open 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily for all age groups.
