CFO of Eatontown Company Elected to Board of Directors of Statewide Home Care Organization

Todd Thiede, Hoboken, CPA and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services (PHHC), Eatontown, a company that provides a wide range of medical and non-medical home health care services from pediatric to geriatric care throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Home Care Association of N.J.

Home Care Association of N.J. is a statewide organization whose goals are informing, educating, assisting and advocating for home care providers, and the patients and families they serve throughout New Jersey since 1973.

New Jersey members include home health agencies, hospices, health care service firms, home care support and consultant services, home care professionals, other health-related associations, and organizations concerned about New Jersey’s home care needs.

Thiede said, “It is an honor to join this board. As a board member, I look forward to helping New Jersey families and home care providers.”

As CFO, Thiede is responsible for corporate finance. He oversees the management of more than 100 corporate employees and more than 1,000 external nurses, among other duties. Prior to joining PHHC, Thiede was vice president of financial planning and analysis for Goldman Sachs Inc., New York City, for five years.

Thiede was graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a B.S. in Accounting in 1999. He is a member of the N.J. State Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Circle of Life, an organization that provides palliative and end-of-life care for children with life-limiting illnesses as well as support for families.

Thiede will be formally introduced this June to attendees at the Annual Conference of Home Care Association of N.J. Atlantic City.
