The Robots Are Coming! How Will Automation Will Affect You? Join HR Professionals May 12 for Information about IA

Posted on May 2, 2022 By

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and new “smarter” intelligent automation (IA) technologies will soon liberate HR professionals from routine processing tasks that distract HR from more human-centric responsibilities. Organizational leaders and their workers are going to be reliant on HR more than ever to help workers to be reskilled, their jobs to be reconfigured, and their conceptions about work changed for a new digitally transformed workplace.

Join JSAHR (Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources) professionals on May 12 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Jumping Brook Country Club, Neptune, for a presentation, open to the public, presented by John J. Gillen, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, a frequent presenter to corporations, professional organizations, and community-based non-profits about the new world of work and how automation tools will work in HR.

In this session, participants will learn what exactly is RPA, IA, and Artificial Intelligence (AI); and some of the coming ways in which these new smarter technologies will be used in HR; why HR needs to be in the forefront of its organization’s adoption of more intelligent automation tools, including all Artificial Intelligence initiatives; how HR professionals can prepare themselves, their business leaders, and their HR function to enable their organizations to seize the opportunities in a digitally enabled new world of work; and how these new Intelligent Automation tools will impact our conception of the HR profession from a jobs-based system to an assignment-based world of work.

Registration and breakfast is $35 for JSAHR members; $50 for non-members; and $20 for guest and those in-transition; and $10 for students with a valid ID. Register online at jsahr.shrm.org/events or email admin@jsahr.org or call JSAHR at 732-701-7155. Assured Partners is sponsoring this meeting.

JSAHR is a SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) affiliated chapter. This program is pending one (1) SHRM PDC and one (1) HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) recertification credit.
