OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc.), a federally qualified health center, is recognizing National Women’s Health Week by sponsoring an awareness event at its Manchester Health Center, 686 Route 70, Lakehurst, on Friday, May 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

OHI staff will be offering screenings, such as blood pressure and glucose, among others. Attendees will receive small giveaways and information about OHI’s services.

The Manchester health center recently expanded its women’s health and OB/GYN services, adding four new exam rooms, a new nursing station, and new medical equipment and supplies.

National Women’s Health Week, May 14 – 20, 2017, honors women – mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, friends and colleagues – and encourages them to make their own health a priority.
