Stars of the Sixties Shine at The Strand Theater on October 1

Ah, the music of the Sixties! Some of the biggest stars of the Sixties are appearing at the Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood, for one night only, October 1, 2021. Door open at 6:00 p.m.; the show begins at 7:00 p.m.

A Pop, Rock & App Wopp Production, presented by Praia Entertainment Group, features Lighting Lou Christie: (“Two Faces Have I”; “I’m Gonna Make You Mine”; “The Gypsy Cried”; “Rhapsody in the Rain”; and “Lightning Strikes”); Dennis Tufano lead singer of the Buckinghams: (“Kind of a Drag”; “Don’t You Care”; “Susan”; “Hey Baby! They’re Playing Our Song”; and “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”); The Circle: (“Red Rubber Ball”; “Turn Down Day”) and a special guest appearance by Chris Ruggiero.

About the Strand Theater The historic Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Ave., Lakewood, was designed by world-renowned theater architect Thomas Lamb in 1922 and is listed on the N.J. and National Register of Historic Places.
