Assemblyman Gregory McGuckin Will Speak at ELC Meeting Sept. 16
Assemblyman Gregory McGuckin, Legislative District 10 of the N.J. State Legislature, is the featured speaker at the Ocean County ELC (Employees Legislative Committee) meeting and breakfast on Friday, September 16 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 815 Route 37 West, Toms River, N.J.
ELC meetings, open to the public, are designed to inform the business community about important legislation, provide face-to-face opportunities with key government officials, and encourage dialogue between business and government.

More about Assemblyman Gregory P. McGuckin: Assemblyman McGuckin was elected to the General Assembly, November 2011 and he serves on the Homeland Security and State Preparedness, and Transportation and Independent Authorities committees. In 2003, McGuckin was elected to the Toms River Township Council where he has served as Council President since 2004. McGuckin served a judicial clerkship with the Superior Court of New Jersey and is a partner in the law firm of Dasti, Murphy, McGuckin, Ulaky, Cherkos & Connors, Forked River. He was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the District IIIA Ethics Committee and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys. He has served numerous municipalities as municipal solicitor, planning board attorney, zoning board attorney and municipal prosecutor. He received his B.A. in history from Providence College in 1983 and his J. D. from Seton Hall University Law School in 1987.
