Assemblymen McGuckin & Catalano to Speak at the November 10 Ocean ELC Meeting

District 10 Assemblymen John Catalano and Greg McGuckin are the featured speakers at Ocean County ELC (Employer Legislative Committee) on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Charlie’s of Bay Head, 72 Bridge Avenue, Bay Head, N.J. The Assemblymen will discuss business in Ocean County.

This event is open only to Ocean County business leaders, business owners, and employees. Ticket are $30.00 per person and registration is required because seating is limited. All social distancing guidelines will be observed.

About Assemblyman John Catalano: Assemblyman John Catalano, a Brick Township resident, was born and raised in New Jersey. He serves on the Consumer Affairs, Labor, and Commerce and Economic Development committees in the General Assembly. His ties in the Brick Township community include being owner of Country Store Jewelers, which opened in 1985. Assemblyman Catalano previously served as Councilman in Brick Township in 2014 and was the president of the Brick Township Republican Club from 2013-2019. He has dedicated his time to the community, serving on the Brick Township Planning Board, the Brick Township Small Business Committee, and the Brick Township Historic Preservation Committee. He was also the commissioner of the Brick Township Housing Authority and vice chair for the Brick MUA.

About Assemblyman Gregory McGuckin: Assemblyman Gregory McGuckin grew up in Brick Township where his father served as Mayor in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He is a partner in the law firm of Dasti, Murphy, McGuckin, Ulaky, Cherkos & Connors. Assemblyman McGuckin currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys. He has served numerous municipalities as Municipal Solicitor, Planning Board Attorney, Zoning Board Attorney and Municipal Prosecutor. In 2003 McGuckin was first elected to the Township Council in Toms River, the eighth largest municipality in New Jersey, where he served as Council President from 2004-2011. He was elected to the General Assembly in November, 2011.
