Atlantic City Ballet to Perform Sleeping Beauty at the Strand Theater August 27

The Atlantic City Ballet is bringing kings, queens, fairy godmothers, and storybook characters to life on the stage of the Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood, Saturday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the tale of Sleeping Beauty, a classical ballet set to Tchaikovsky’s well-known score that the entire family can enjoy.

The Atlantic City Ballet, a professional ballet company based in Atlantic City, has called The Strand its Ocean County home since first performing there in 2013. The historic theater, considered one of the most majestic in New Jersey, is the perfect backdrop for Sleeping Beauty.

Tickets are $35 for Orchestra and Loge; $25.00 for Mezzanine; $20 Seniors, $15 Students (Plus $5 fee per ticket). Group discounts are available. About the Atlantic City Ballet: Founded in 1982, by International Ballerina Phyllis Papa, the Atlantic City Ballet, a 501 (c)(3) organization, is made up of professional dancers from around the world who have earned national acclaim for their technical expertise and exuberant stage presence.
