Gibson Named Operations Manager for the Lakewood Branch of Harmony Bank

Sarah Gibson, Beach Haven, N.J., has been named operations manager for the Lakewood branch of Harmony Bank, with headquarters in Jackson. Her main responsibility will be to manage the Lakewood branch of Harmony Bank at 500 River Avenue.

Gibson has worked in the banking industry for 17 years. Prior to joining Harmony Bank, Gibson worked at the corporate offices of Sterling National Bank, Montebello, N.Y., where she managed the services and execution of day-to-day processes; and did the maintenance and troubleshooting of business online banking, wire transfers, and armored car services, among other responsibilities.

Gibson holds an A.A. degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from Rockland Community College, Suffern, N.Y. She is a member of Rotary International and is licensed by the state of New York to sell life insurance and annuities. Before moving to New Jersey, Gibson was a trustee and board member of the Edward Hopper House Art Center in Nyack, New York, a nonprofit organization that supports the work local artists, among whom is the painter Edward Hopper, known for such famous works as Nighthawks, Chop Suey, and Automat.
