JSAHR Legal Seminar April 13 – Attorneys to Give Employment Law Updates

The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR) is hosting a half-day legal interactive meeting, presented by the employment law firm of Jackson Lewis on April 13 from 8:15 a.m. to Noon at the Jumping Brook Country Club, 210 Jumping Brook Road, Neptune, NJ 07753. This seminar is sponsored by Manasquan Bank and Jackson Lewis.

Led by attorneys Luke Breslin, Pooja Bhutani, Shikha Dutta, and Cody Hubbs, this seminar will provide the latest information on employment issues impacting organizations on a federal and state levels with up-to-the-minute strategies and solutions. Topics will include a discussion of McLaren Macomb decision and its implications; review of the N.J. Temporary Workers’ Bill of Rights; analysis of trends about sexual harassment litigation, including discussion of recent decisions and the Ending Forced Arbitration in Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Act, and the Speak Out Act; a discussion on the EEOC Draft Strategic Enforcement Plan for fiscal years 2023-2027, including evaluation of the plan’s top six enforcement priorities; an assessment of obstacles and innovations in the hiring process, including discussion on AI in hiring and best practices; and an evaluation of issues relating to unconscious bias and best practices for employers.
