Lakewood Township Holds a Virtual Reorganization Meeting

Raymond G. Coles, who has served on the Lakewood Township Committee for more than 20 years, was sworn in for a three-year term, his 7th, along with Mike D’Elia by Township attorney Steven Secare. Coles was also selected to be the Mayor of Lakewood for his 5th consecutive year. (Years served as Mayor: 2002, 2004. 2007, 2008. 20017-2021).

Menashe P. Miller was sworn in as Deputy Mayor, his 5th consecutive year. Lakewood Deputy Mayor Menashe Miller is also a Captain and Chaplain in the United States Air Force, 87th Air Base Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. He has served on the Lakewood Township Committee, since 2003.

Coles, founding board member of the historic Strand Center for the Arts, and Jon Petz have been the owners of Tek-net Inc. a Lakewood company that services medical and scientific instruments, since1989.

Other appointments included Secare and Hensel as General Counsel and Remington and Vernick Engineers as municipal engineers.
