Lakewood Twp. Consumption (Restaurant) Liquor License Available for Bid
Lakewood Township has approved to sell by auction a Consumption (Restaurant) Liquor License. Under New Jersey law, all bidders must be qualified to have a liquor license in order to bid on the liquor license. A copy of the documents to be submitted to qualify is included in the bid packet. The qualifying documents are due in the Township Clerk’s office, 231 Third Street, Lakewood, NJ 08701 no later than May 5, 2022, by 4:00 p.m.
The starting bid is $150,000. An announcement of who are the qualified bidders will be made on June 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in Lakewood Town Hall. The auction itself will be on June 16, 2022, conducted by sealed bid, with all bids due no later than 4:00 PM.
