Local Photographer Chosen as Official Image-Maker for N.J. Hall of Fame

Gellman Images has been selected as the official image-maker for the fourth year in a row for the 2011 New Jersey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will take place at the N.J. Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark, N.J., Sunday, June 5, 2011. 

Gellman Images will be responsible for all still images and behind-the-scenes video for the New Jersey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; the imaging content for the satellite museums slated for the N.J. State Museum, Newark Gallery; and a mobile unit that will travel statewide.

The 2011 inductees are Tony Bennett, Governor Brendan Byrne, Mary Higgins Clark, Franco Harris, Leon Hess, Queen Latifah, Martha Stewart, Joe Theismann, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, among others.

Gary Gellman, 43, founder and owner of Gellman Images, Monmouth County, says, “We are honored to align ourselves with such a great group of  individuals from New Jersey. The N.J. Hall of Fame events over the last several years have been phenomenal and we believe this year’s will be even greater.”

As a celebrity photographer, Gellman has been featured nationally in newspapers, magazines and on the radio more than 400 times. He has also appeared on CBS’s “The Early Show,” ABC’s “Good Morning Las Vegas,” CBS’s “Early Show Indianapolis,” Fox’s “Good Day Philadelphia,” Action News- “Early Edition,” NBC’s “10,” UPN9, News 12’s “Daytime Edition,” Comcast’s “Real Life,” New York 1 and The New York Times.

Gellman Images recently won national recognition for a video created at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City and recently had a documentary selected for the September 11, Memorial Museum in New York City.  Gellman Images is a member of the New York Professional Videographers Association.
