She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management Association (SHRM), the Human Resources Management Association of Princeton, the Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources (JSAHR), the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), and the Monmouth Ocean Development Council (MODC).

Amyot was graduated with a B.A. and an M.A. in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University. She holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute; and a Life, Accident and Health Insurance license from the State of New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance.
