OHI Changing Diabetes Testing Day at Toms River Site

OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health care center, is changing its diabetes A1c testing day at its Toms River site, 301 Lakehurst Road, Toms River, to Thursday, November 14, from noon to 7:00 p.m. instead of Friday, November 15.

Diabetes testing will be still be given noon to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 13 at 333 Haywood Road, Manahawkin.

Each site will have diabetic supplies and giveaways; and Israel Arroyo, chronic care coordinator for OHI, will present a half-hour educational seminar Managing Your Diabetes at 3:00 p.m. on all testing days. OHI pharmacists Vijay Vohra and Nancy Karroum will be available to discuss diabetic medication management. Most insurances are accepted.
