OHI Schedules Events to Recognize National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives) a federally qualified health center, will be hosting events from Monday, September 25 to Wednesday, September 27 to recognize National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month.

OHI will be providing nutritional information, healthy eating tips, and information about how to prevent childhood obesity. Attendees will receive a healthy snack. Robert Hildebrandt, OHI’s registered dietician, will be present to answer questions.

Events will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25 at Lakewood Health Center, 101 Second Street; Tuesday, September 26 at Brick Health Center, 1608 Route 88, Suite 207; and Wednesday, September 27 at Little Egg Harbor, 798 Route 539. Building 3.
