OHI’s Mobile Dental Unit Reschedules Dental Visits to Head Start Sites

OHI’s (Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc.) Mobile Medical Unit has rescheduled its Head Start dental exams in Brick, Manchester and Berkeley. All times remain the same. Dentist Dr. Patricia Gibbons of OHI, in partnership with the Head Start development program of O.C.E.A.N., Inc., will be conducting dental exams for Head Start children on the following dates:

Brick, 503 Adamston Road, Thurs. October 29 (NOT October 28) 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Manchester, 2950 Wilbur Avenue, Wed., November 4 (NOT October 20) 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Berkeley, 264 First Avenue, Wed., November 4 (NOT October 20) 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The OHI mobile medical unit brings medical and dental services to people who might not have the transportation. OHI offers comprehensive dental services at its Lakewood and Toms River health center sites.

Dental services include general dentistry care, cleanings and screenings, routine checkups beginning at 12 months, fluoride treatments, sealants, extractions, x-rays, treatment of gum disease, and removal of decayed teeth. Late evening and Saturday hours are available.
