“Share the Joy” 100.1 WJRZ Charity Drive Benefits Local Charities

Local charities will benefit from “Share the Joy,” the annual live radio broadcast drive hosted by Beasley Media Group, Inc. radio station 100.1 WJRZ. Help fill a 50-foot tractor-trailer at Perlmutter Family ShopRite, 860 Fischer Boulevard, Toms River, N.J., with donations of non-perishable food items (no glass, please), gently used coats, new unwrapped toys, and monetary donations, starting Friday, November 16, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and continuing Saturday, November 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

“Share the Joy,” a charity collection drive for Ocean County residents, will benefit People’s Pantry, Toms River; NJ Veterans Network; and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County. Pepsi, Perlmutter Family ShopRite, Jersey Coast Appliance, AmeriGas, AtlantiCare, Audi of Toms River, and Christian Pools are this year’s sponsors.

While making donations at ShopRite, meet WJRZ on air personalities and enjoy live broadcasts. Broadcast schedule for Friday, November 16: Tj Bryan (6–10 a.m.), Barbara Farragher (10 a.m.–2 p.m.), Matt Knight (2–6 p.m.) and Dan Turi (6–10 p.m.). Broadcast schedule for Saturday, November 17: Barbara Farragher (9 a.m.–2 p.m.), Tj Bryan (12– 4 p.m.) and Matt Knight (4– 8 p.m.).
