“Share the Joy” 100.1 WJRZ Charity Drive to Benefit Two Local Charities
Two local charities will benefit from “Share the Joy,” the annual live radio broadcast drive hosted by Beasley Media Group, Inc. radio station 100.1 WJRZ. Help fill a tractor-trailer at Perlmutter Family ShopRite, 860 Fischer Boulevard, Toms River, N.J., with donations of food, clothing, and new toys, starting Friday, November 18, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and continuing through Saturday, November 19 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
“Share the Joy,” a charity collection drive for Ocean County residents sponsored by Pepsi and Statewide Solar, and Michael’s Furniture will benefit Ocean County Hunger Relief; and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Ocean County. Non-perishable food items and gently used clothing will go to Ocean County Hunger Relief; new unwrapped toys and gently used clothing to Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Monetary donations for both charities are always welcome.
Two satellite locations are available for those who cannot make it to the Toms River ShopRite location for the “Share the Joy” charity drive. Bring donations or items to Statewide Solar, 110 South Main Street, Forked River, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The dropoff for items at Michael’s Furniture, 214 Brick Boulevard, Brick, is either on Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.; or Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
