2011 Women’s Expo Is Magic–Meet Celebrity Chefs and a National T.V. Psychotherapist

 Enjoy fashion, food, fitness, prizes and more at the 10th Annual Women’s Expo, a Magic 100.1 radio event sponsored by Deborah Heart and Lung Center, and Seaview Orthopaedic and Medical Associates, Sunday, February 27, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Quality Inn, Route 37 West, Toms River, N.J.  Admission is free.

Visit many exhibits; enjoy a complimentary haircut and styling, courtesy of Turning Heads Color and Design; stop at the Diet and Wellness area; meet celebrities; observe cooking demonstrations, win prizes, and do some shopping during the Expo.  

Pick up culinary tips and ideas from cooking demonstrations by celebrity chef Matthew Zappoli, owner and chef of Tre Amici, Long Branch, who was the winner of the Food Network’s “Chopped,” and top chefs from the Captain’s Inn Restaurant and Dockside Bar, Forked River. Learn to create and decorate custom cakes and cupcakes from Jennifer Richmond, the designer and owner of JenniCakes, Forked River.

Meet Dr. Robi Ludwig, the nationally known psychotherapist and award-winning reporter who has been seen on CNN, Headline News, the Fox News Channel, the Today Show, Oprah, Larry King Live, and Regis & Kelly among others. Dr. Ludwig will have a Q & A to answer relationship questions.  She will also be featuring “Jewelry Inspiration,” her new jewelry line.  

Trainers from Club Metro will be conducting a fitness demonstration on the proper use of the BOSU Ball, the blue half-ball that is used for balance training for the young, the elderly, the injured, or the experienced athlete.

About Dr. Robi Ludwig In both clinical settings and in her private practice, she has treated all forms of mental illness, substance abuse, grieving, sexual identity issues, job stress, emotional and sexual abuse problems as well as the more common social and parenting issues, helping people to understand the complexities of the human condition.

Her book, ’Till Death Do Us Part: Love, Marriage and the Mind of the Killer Spouse, written with Matt Birkbeck will be out in paperback this spring.  Dr. Ludwig received her doctorate in psychology from Southern California University for Professional Studies.  She holds certifications in advanced clinical work from Hunter College, New York; an M.S. in social work from the University of Pennsylvania; and a B.A. in mass communications from Cedar Crest College, Pennsylvania.
