Keep Your Best Employees from Leaving – JSAHR March Mtg.

Posted on February 15, 2011 By

Because a turnover of employees costs too much, it is important to put in place strategies that will help retain your best employees when the economy improves. Abby Kohut, lead consultant and owner of the Staffing Symphony company, will present techniques to “Keep Your Best Employees from Leaving” at the March 10, 2011, meeting of Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR), 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., Jumping Brook Country Club, 210 Jumping Brook Road, Neptune, N.J.  The HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) will award one strategic credit hour for attending this meeting.

Kohut’s presentation will cover the eight hidden cost of turnover, the six retentions don’ts, the seven red flags that mean an employee is unhappy, and case studies of what HR executives are doing to retain key employees.

The registration fee and a full buffet breakfast is $25.00 for JSAHR members; $35.00 for nonmembers; and an additional $5.00 for walk-ins. To register, call Kathi Evans, JSAHR administrator, at 732-270-5204 or e-mail jsahradmin@atbcelebrations.com.  JSAHR is a Superior Merit Award Chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
