Assemblyman Robert Clifton to Speak at Ocean ELC Meeting
Robert Clifton, Assemblyman for District 12 (Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, and Middlesex counties), will discuss important issues affecting business Friday, April 17, 2015, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the monthly meeting of the Ocean ELC (Employees Legislative Committee), Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 815 Route 37 West, Toms River, N.J.
ELC meetings, open to the public, are designed to inform the business community about important legislation, provide face-to-face opportunities with key government officials, and encourage dialogue between business and government.

About Robert Clifton: Assemblyman Robert Clifton has been the director of government and community affairs for Comcast Cable Corporation since 2001. Prior to joining Comcast, Assemblyman Clifton was the director of industry relations for the N.J. Pavement and Asphalt Association, acting as a liaison between the trade association and municipalities throughout the state regarding road improvement issues.
Born and raised in Matawan, Assemblyman Clifton graduated from St. John Vianney H.S., Holmdel. He received his B.A. in political science from Rider College, Lawrenceville, and an M.A. in political science from the University of Richmond, Virginia. He has served in the General Assembly from 2012. Before his election to the Assembly, Clifton served three terms as a Monmouth County Freeholder, where he last served as the director of the Board.
