Dedication of Memorial Brick Garden at the Lakewood Historical Museum
Anyone who donated a brick for the Memorial Brick Garden at the Sheldon Wolpin Historical Museum, Pine Park, Lakewood, is invited to a dedication ceremony June 18 at 2:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Memorial bricks have been planted near the side door of the Museum and are visible as people cross over the wooden bridge to the museum. The fee for memorial bricks with an inscription is $125. To-date about 200 bricks have been sold, with the proceeds funding the maintenance and upkeep of the museum.
Special thanks go to the Lakewood Black Hawks who framed out the Memorial Garden and built a bench; and Clayton Block Company who donated the sand and a large number of blank bricks.

The Lakewood Historical Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for self-guided tours; and Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with tours provided by docents. Admission is free but donations are always gladly accepted.
