JSAHR In-Person Legal Seminar Nov. 10 – Attorneys to Give Employment Law Updates

The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR) is hosting a half-day legal in-person, interactive seminar presented by the employment law firm of Jackson Lewis on November 10 from 8:15 a.m. to Noon at Jumping Brook Country Club, 210 Jumping Brook Road, Tinton Fall, NJ 07753. The seminar will cover critical issues facing employers today, and present strategies and solutions.

The seminar led by attorneys Luke Breslin, Bianca Olivadoti, Pooja Bhutani, and Darran St. Ange will provide the latest information on employment issues impacting organizations on a federal and state level. The presentation will include N.J. Temporary Disability Benefits; Family Leave Insurance (“NJ FLI”), Family Leave Act (“NJ FLA”) and Paid Sick Leave (“NJ PSL”); Conducting an Effective Workplace Investigation; Key Issues to Address When Building an Ethical Organization; and Updates on Recent New Jersey Legislation and Case Law; and Issues Pertaining to Employee Benefits Regarding Access to Abortions, presented by Tom Crowell at Hafetz and Associates.

The registration fee is $65 for JSAHR members; $95 for non-members; and $50 for guests and those in-transition; $10 for students with a valid ID; and $10 additional fee for walk-ins. About the Jackson Lewis Speakers: Luke P. Breslin is a Principal in the Berkeley Heights, N.J., and Monmouth County offices.
