Trade shows and expos are exhausting and expensive for the exhibitors, but they don’t have to be. To avoid the “morning after the show blues,” Chris Ruisi, The Coach, is holding a free business seminar for Marine Trade Association members, entitled Make Boat Shows Work for You and Close More Business, January 11, 2012, FirstEnergy Park (BlueClaws stadium), Conference Room, 2 Stadium Way, Lakewood, N.J., 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Ruisi, CEO and founder of The Coach’s Zone, a business and leadership coaching company, will cover such topics as developing a show plan, engaging in pre-show activities, making your display work, avoiding common marketing mistakes, and participating in worthwhile post show activities and follow-up strategies, among other information.

To register, contact the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey at 732-292-1051 or contact The Coach at the coachszone.com or call 732-275-9222.

About the Coach: In the course of 25 years, Ruisi progressed through USLIFE Corporation to become its President and COO/CEO. After the acquisition of USLIFE by American General Corporation (AGC), a $3 billion project he led, Ruisi remained as president and CEO, and member of the Board of Directors of two of its operating subsidiaries until May 1998.

Ruisi was named the 2009 Citizen of the Year by the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. Recently, the video he created and funded “Faces, Colors and Stories of Cancer” received the Gold Award from the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association.

As the Founder and CEO of The Coach’s Zone, Ruisi has coached or mentored hundreds of executives in both large and small businesses. He is an accomplished public speaker, providing his audiences with direction and motivation on what is needed to accomplish their goals.
