Monmouth Day Care Recognizes Honorees at Its Jubilee Celebration This June
Monmouth Park Charity Fund and United Methodist Church of Red Bank will be honored at the Monmouth Day Care Center’s (MDCC) 50th Celebration on June 8, 2019, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., at the Navesink Country Club, 50 Luffburrow Lane, Middletown, NJ 07748.
The public, including local businesses, past board members, MDCC alumni and their parents, community partners, and long-time supporters are invited to celebrate. Tickets cost $175.00 each and include hors d’oeuvres, open bar, carving stations, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and more.
Heidi Zaentz, executive director of MDCC, said, “The United Methodist Church of Red Bank is where we began. They provided us space for one classroom in the basement of the church in 1969. We eventually grew too large for the space and moved into our current residence on Drs. James Parker Boulevard.
“What I love about the church, is that even though we moved out, they have always supported us. Year after year, the church donates money to Monmouth Day Care Center. And one of our most special bonds with the church is The Backpack Crew, a new partnership housed inside the church. They provide food on the weekends for seven of our neediest families. We’ve come full circle with them and we look forward to continuing our partnership.”
Zaentz said, “The Monmouth Park Charity Fund has been including MDCC in their grant distribution since almost the beginning. What I love so much about them is they help many nonprofits with diverse missions in Monmouth County. The Monmouth Park Charity Fund is an asset to Monmouth Day Care Center and we appreciate their support year after year.”
The proceeds will benefit Monmouth Day Care Center programs, students, and families. Purchase tickets and sponsorships at www.bidpal.net/50thcelebration. Sponsorships range from $1000 to $15000.
