Navesink Business Group Joins Jersey Promise to Raise Funds for Continued Sandy Relief and to Honor Those Who Have Helped
The Navesink Business Group (NBG) is holding its Waves of Support fundraising gala Monday September 22, 2014, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the historic Molly Pitcher Inn, 88 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, New Jersey, to raise funds for continued Sandy relief for Shore communities and to support tourism at the Jersey Shore.
“A Taste of Broadway on the Promenade,” the theme of the gala, includes a silent auction; live entertainment by The Broadway Dolls, an award-winning New York City concert experience that includes cast members from Mamma Mia, Rock of Ages and Jersey Boys; and a five-course dinner with selections from Ama Ristorante, Danny’s Steak House, David Burke Fromagerie, Soul Kitchen, Teak, The Bistro, The Cheese Cave and Zoe, and executive chefs from The Molly Pitcher Inn and The Oyster Point Hotel.
The honorees include The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Clean Ocean Action, Hometown Heroes, the Buhler Family, and George Lyristis of Bistro Boys Management and Red Bank Flavour.
The gala is the third event of NBG’s Waves of Support initiative, a campaign created with Jersey Promise to help organizations and businesses in ten randomly chosen Monmouth and Ocean County towns. Recipients of the proceeds will include the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Sea Bright Rising, Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry, Churches of the Manasquan Area Ministerium, Habitat for Humanity, Visitation Relief Center, Hometown Heroes, and the Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau.
