Pine Belt Cars Wins Naming Rights for Another Five Years of the Point Pleasant Beach Athletic Complex and Gym
Rob Sickel, owner of Pine Belt Cars, Lakewood, announced that Pine Belt has won another five-year bid from the Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education for the naming rights of the High School Gymnasium and its Athletic Complex, off Niblick, Cooks Lane, and Yale and Trenton avenues, Point Pleasant Beach. The Complex will be known as The Pine Belt Athletic Complex at Point Pleasant Beach School District.
Sickel said, “We are excited that Pine Belt Cars is being recognized once again for its commitment to education and athletic youth programs, and honored that the Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education accepted our bid.”
The support of Pine Belt Cars will help offset the costs of such upgrades as fencing, lighting, and renovations to the fields, for example. The Complex is used for high school and middle school graduation; New Jersey Special Olympics events; and the practice and games of the Pt. Pleasant beach Borough High School football team, and boys’ and girls’ soccer and track teams. It is also used for the marching band, elementary gym classes, both district and state-wide events, and community programs.
