Silver Bay Medical Center Announces Summer Hours

Posted on July 28, 2011 By

In today’s world, you may not have time to wait for a doctor’s appointment.  You don’t have to, even in the summer. Silver Bay Medical Center, 1851 Hooper Avenue (Silverton area), Toms River, N.J., a walk-in and “by appointment only” practice has announced its summer hours.

Doctors, who treat patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly, are on staff six days a week. No appointments are needed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.; and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during July and August.  Hours by appointment are Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

According to Vincent DeStasio, D.O., Medical Director, “Outdoor activities in the summer often increase a family’s need for immediate medical attention. With the hectic schedules most people have, patients appreciate having a facility where they can go to get medical attention without a doctor’s appointment.”

Silver Bay Medical Center has a laboratory on site. Most insurances are accepted.  The doctors on staff are Vincent DeStasio, Michele Lanza, Dalia Hanna, and Yasmeen Jafry.
