Although remote access increases workforce efficiency, it also increases the risk of cyber intrusion. John Kalli, Marlboro, N.J., the CEO of the IT company Trinity Worldwide Technologies, LLC, and Robert Anderson, Esq. from the law firm of Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, Westfield, N.J., are presenting “Minimize Cyber-Risks of Remote Employees,” a one hour complementary webinar, Thursday, October 4, 2018, at noon (EST) to provide guidance for businesses and organizations that offer or plan to offer remote access.

Participants will learn about creating remote access policies; issues surrounding BYOD (Bring Your Own Device); the principles of “least privilege”; best practices for allowing remote access to your network, including remote desktop access; and how to easily create passwords that are hard to crack.

Anderson, a member of Lindabury’s Cybersecurity team, will highlight what policies are necessary when employees use their own devices. Kalli, who has managed technology service companies from start-ups to $300 million for more than 35 years, will focus on how to safely implement remote access.
