Eagle Ridge Gets More Than Its Dimes’ Worth – New Director Brings Innovation
Amy Dimes, Colts Neck, has been named director of sales and service, a new positon, for Eagle Ridge Golf Course, 2 Augusta Drive, Lakewood, N.J. Her role is to initiate new ideas, drive sales, and focus on delivering outstanding service. She has already introduced Cruise Nights the second Thursday of each month, trivia nights on Tuesdays, nightly themed menus, live entertainment, and new amenities in the redesigned and remodeled bridal suite, among others. Except for golf, Dimes also supervises all front house operations, marketing, sales, and manages the View Pub and Restaurant.
Before taking the position at Eagle Ridge, Dimes was the hotel manager and director of sales for the Berkeley Hotel, Asbury Park. For six years she also ran her own business, “Dime Store Candy Buffets,” a banquet of candy and sweet treats available at the end of a wedding.
Dimes, a graduate of Freehold High School, holds a B.A. in business management with a minor in marketing from Monmouth University, Long Branch. She is a member of the Lakewood, Brick, and Southern Ocean chambers. She is the president of the PTO for the Colts Neck school district, having served as a director of fundraising and sponsorship.
Eagle Ridge Golf Course offers a renovated ballroom and banquet facility for special events that seats 25 to 300 guests; a 27-hole course open to the public from dawn to dusk with special rates for Seniors; the View Pub, open 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Eagle Ridge’s newest addition is a golf simulator for off-season. Kosher food from approved caterers is available.
