HR Organization Offers Free WebEx on Managing A.I. and Automation in the Workforce
Since the beginning of the computer age, technology has been advancing to the point where Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is becoming more and more commonplace in the workforce. Technological advances have already resulted in the loss of many administrative jobs; and machines can often rival and quickly surpass the skills of workers, creating the automation of jobs once held solely by humans. The challenge facing employers will be to effectively manage teams of humans alongside and enhanced by intelligent agents.
On July 25, 2018, from Noon to 1:00 p.m., Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR) is offering a free Webex to explore management adaptations that will be needed in the future as automation increases in the workforce.
Register online at http://jsahr.shrm.org/events or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 732-701-7155. This Webex has been pre-approved for one Business Credit from HRCI and is pending SHRM recertification credits.
Roy Altman, the Webex speaker, is the founder and CEO of Peopleserv, a software/services company. Previously, he was manager of HRIS Analytics and Architecture at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
