Dr. Theresa Berger, CEO of OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc.), has announced that the OHI Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) is visiting Lakewood this month to provide a number of screenings and free health education information.

May Mobile Unit Locations and Times

 

Lakewood Township, New Christian Life Center, 211 East Fourth Street, Lakewood

Educational health fair, blood pressure screenings, and free educational materials

Saturday, May 19 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Lakewood Township, Lakewood Town Square

Nondenominational Prayer Walk, God Belongs In My City

Free blood pressure screenings and health educational materials.

Saturday, May 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Latino Community SpringFest and Health Fair

Free blood pressure screenings, oral cancer screenings, and educational materials

Saturday, June 2,from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

To make an appointment or to confirm dates, times, and locations of the medical unit, contact the Call Center of OHI at 732-363-6655.  The OHI mobile medical unit is an effort to bring some medical services to people who might not have transportation.
