MODC Seeks Silver Gull Nominations

Monmouth-Ocean Development Council (MODC), Wall Township, N.J., is seeking Silver Gull Award nominations for individuals, corporations, and organizations that have contributed to enhancing the quality of life and business environment in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The recipients will be honored at MODC’s 59th Annual Silver Gull Awards Dinner on May 2, 2024, at Eagle Oaks Country Club, 20 Shore Oaks Drive, Farmingdale, N.J.

Submit a nomination to MODC no later than December 11, 2023, for any of the following categories: Community Service, Economic Development, Tourism Achievement, Nonprofit of the Year, Emerging Change-maker, and Change-maker. Non-MODC members may submit nominations and are also eligible for awards, but MODC members will take precedence.

Please note: Judges abstain from voting on their own nominations. Letters of support are considered when the nominations are judged.

About the Silver Gull Awards: For over fifty years, MODC has presented the Silver Gull Award to deserving recipients around the region who have made a difference in the way we do business at the Jersey Shore. Under the direction of committee chair Senator Robert Singer, this year’s co-chair Stacey Kavanaugh, and Provident Bank, this preeminent affair attended by more than 300 business and community leaders, has become recognized as the pinnacle of awards, recognizing individual and corporate accomplishments in the area of economic development, community service, and tourism.
