OHI to Provide Dental Screenings for Lakewood Early Childhood Centers and Piner Elementary School

OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health center, is providing dental screenings and services to the Lakewood school district that include general dentistry care and fluoride for preschoolers Thursday, March 30 at Lakewood Early Childhood Center (LECC) from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, 100 Linden Avenue; 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at 501 Ridge Avenue; and Thursday, April 6 at Piner Elementary School, 1141 E Country Line Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Screenings will be conducted in the OHI mobile medical unit (MMU). Students or their family members must complete registration and consent forms for screenings, which they can obtain at their school.

The OHI MMU provides medical and dental services to people who may not have the transportation and offers general dentistry, fluoride and screenings. More comprehensive dental services are available at OHI’s Lakewood Health Center, 101 Second Street, Lakewood; Toms River Health Center, 301 Lakehurst Road; or Little Egg Harbor Health Center, 798 Route 539, Building 3.
