The start of summer with all its sun and fun is not considered official until the Jersey Shore Chamber’s Summer Kickoff event at four Shore hotspots on Friday, May 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The 5th Annual Summer Kickoff hosted by the Jersey Shore Chamber of Commerce (JSCC), Wall Township, N.J., is open to the public. Attendees can either take a luxury bus for a total of $10 or drive to a location where they can enjoy a free, light buffet at Klein’s Fish Market, 708 River Rd, Belmar, 1:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.; Fratello’s Italian Restaurant & Lounge, 810 The Plaza, Sea Girt, 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.; River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar, 1600 NJ-70, Brick Township, 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.; and Oasis Pool & Day Club at The Headliner, 1401 NJ-35, Neptune City, 4:00 to 5:15 p.m.

Each location will either offer a cash bar or drink specials. Included throughout the event are also prizes and giveaways; social media exposure; and a professional photographer and videographer.

Kellyann Skorupski, chairwoman of the Summer Kickoff and co-owner of Chores with Stephanie Marsh, said, “The event is set up as a very informal and exciting networking event. Visiting four of our chamber’s restaurants brings them additional exposure as they, too, kickoff the summer season.”
